Jackie Keefe

Jackie Keefe, 68, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Fall Line Station, 567 Plum St, Macon, GA 31201. A reception with food and drinks will follow services. Please be comfortable and casual. Per Jackie’s request, we will celebrate what we had, not mourn what we have lost. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in Jackie's memory to All About Animals in Macon. 

Jackie was born September 2, 1957, in Poughkeepsie, New York. Jackie later moved to Georgia and made it her home. She attended both Georgia State University and Clayton State University, earning bachelor’s degrees from each. She built a career in the medical field and enjoyed 45 years with the Wellstar Hospital Group, most recently serving as their Laboratory Clinical Coordinator at Spaulding Regional Hospital in Griffin, GA.

Jackie’s life changed eight months ago when she became a grandmother. She loved spending time with and doting on her precious grandson, Joseph. Her family was her greatest joy, including her dogs. Her light, support, and love will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen Torsone Gallo and Joseph Gallo. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gary Keefe; as well as her son, Sean Keefe (Nayi); and grandson, Joseph, all of Macon, Georgia. Additionally, Jackie is survived by her sisters, Janine Whalen (Walter), of Hatboro, Pennsylvania; and Georgette Morton (Claude), of Tucker, Georgia.
