Jack L. Amerson

Macon - Jack L. Amerson died on January 13, 2009. He was 69 years of age. He was a native Maconite and the son of Walter Amerson and Hazel Carr. Mr. Amerson is survived by his daughter, Julie Amerson Lewis and her children, Gabriel Lewis and Cameron Lackey of Winder, GA; daughter, Kimberly Amerson Nelson (David) and her children, Whitney Williams, Patrick Watson, Bradford and Garrett Nelson; one great granddaughter, Jade Smith and one great grandson, Kenneth Williams of Savannah, GA ; brothers,W.L. Amerson of Macon and Larry Amerson of St. Augustine, FL. He was a lifetime employee of Southern Railway. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Online register is located at www.hartsmort.com.
