Iris R. Wilkes

October 9, 1914 - November 8, 2014 Iris R. Wilkes, 100, passed away November 8, 2014. Mrs. Wilkes was a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother. Her parents were George and Katie Ray. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at 2:00PM, at Macon Memorial Park. She is survived by her sons Ray (Pat) Wilkes and Glenn Wilkes and one daughter Teresa Pate, grandchildren Michael R. (LeAnne) Wilkes and Chris Pate, great grandchildren Ashley E. Wilkes and Jonathan S. (Julienne) Wilkes, and brothers Alton Ray and Billy Ray. She was loved by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Felton S. Wilkes, brothers G.W. Ray and Tyson Ray, sisters Ruby Layfield, Blondell Layfield, Margaret Collier, Wynelle Ray, and Martha Ellen Perdue.
