Iris Hamlin

Iris Hamlin, 64, of Roberta, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend Joe McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Musella Baptist Church, 5430 US-341, Musella, GA 31066 or American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Iris loved doing arts and crafts, woodworking, working in her garden, and reading. She was a very humble woman who was very proud of both of her boys. She was a member of Musella Baptist Church. Iris was looking forward to the birth of her first grandson, Connor Bryce Heath, who is due at any moment.

Iris is survived by her sons, Brian (Heather) Heath of Lizella, Georgia and Timothy Voy Hamlin, Jr. of Germany; sisters, Martha (Jeff) Holloway of Macon and Kathy (Jack) Webb of Swainsboro, Georgia; nieces, April (Travis) Reeves and Michelle (Bubba) Whitehead; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Dawson and Marissa Swain, Gabe Reeves, and Rob Johnson.
