Inez Gladney Owens

Inez Gladney Owens, 90, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 10, 2014. Services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Owens was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Thomaston Road Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late James Alfred Gladney and the late John Thomas Owens, and was also predeceased by her son, James Glenn Gladney, and brothers and sister, John Leonard Poole, William Taft Poole, Earl Franklin Poole, Andrew Jackson Poole and Annie Poole Martin. Mrs. Owens is survived by her children, June Gladney Causey (Jessie) of Roberta and Daniel A. Gladney (Susan) of Dry Branch; sister, Elizabeth Poole Clements of Cordele; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
