Ila Juhan "Billie" Rowe

Ila Juhan "Billie" Rowe, age 92, died July 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home, 202 N. Hutchinson Avenue, Adel, Georgia. Burial will be at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon, Georgia 31201 or to Agape House of Middle Georgia, 4901 Harrison Road, Macon, Georgia 31206- 4135. Mrs. Rowe was a member of First Baptist Church, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Colonial Dames. She spent her life serving others. She was a Registered Nurse at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Rowe was one of nine children in an extremely close family. She was predeceased by her husband, William Matthew Rowe and her siblings, Donald Juhan, Rhoda Elizabeth Juhan, Sallie Ruth Wells, Francis Golden Juhan, Bernice Lemack Ihley, Maida Postell Joiner, and Oliver Hazzard Perry Juhan, Jr. Mrs. Rowe is survived by her sister, Alyce Juhan Starr of Macon and several nieces and nephews.
