Ida Mae Davis

Ida Mae Davis, 82, of Macon, passed away Saturday, December 08, 2012. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 11AM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. Dr. Wayne McDonald and Reverend Lee Bennett will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from 6PM until 8PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Lynn Haven Nursing Home for their loving care and support. Mrs. Davis was a member of the former East Macon UMC for over 50 years before joining Pitts Chapel UMC. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Martin Davis. Survivors: Son, Alan (Carol) Davis of Macon; Daughter, Carolyn Johnson of Macon; Daughter, Donna (Mike) Haines of Bonaire; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
