Hugh David Salter

Hugh David Salter, 56, of Byron, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. Visitation will follow the service in the funeral home. Born in Tifton, Georgia he was the son of the late George M. Salter. He was owner and operator of Décor and More Gift Shop. Mr. Salter was in retail sales for many years and was a member of the Ingleside Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, Benjamin Salter, Jessica Salter and Kelly Salter, all of Macon; Brother, Jim Salter of Duluth, Georgia; Mother, Ellen Jackson Hearn of Macon, Ga.
