Hubert Wesley "H.W." Heath, Jr.

Hubert Wesley “H.W.” Heath, Jr., 86, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. The family will greet friends for a time of visitation following the service.

H.W. was born on January 1, 1940, in Macon, Georgia to Hubert Wesley Heath, Sr. and Juanita Hinson Heath. He was an avid golfer, a great storyteller, and a great outdoorsman. He liked to travel, especially Alaska and Montana. Being a truck driver for sixty years, he traveled all over the United States and was able to see the beauty that this country of America offers. Some of his best stories came from his travels as well.

H.W. loved his family and provided for them well. He enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly.

H.W. is survived by his wife, Linda Bridgeman Heath; his daughters, Angela Heath O'Kelley of Loganville, Georgia, and Brandi Heath Justice (Bryan) of Macon; his daughter-in-law, Tina Pinkston Heath of Macon; his grandchildren, Wesley Heath IV (Kelly), Ryan Casey Heath (Ashley), Kaitlin Rebecca Heath, Kevin O'Kelley, Kenneth O’Kelley (Kenzie), Lanier Justice (Will Martin), and Heath Justice; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Claire Heath, Charlee Cate Heath, and Ellie O’Kelley. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Hubert Wesley "Wes" Heath, III; and his siblings, Betty Heath, Peggie Heath Smiddie, Rose Marie Heath, Billy Gibson, and Gene Heath.

The family would like to acknowledge everyone who came to visit H.W. in his final months. Also, special thanks to his hospice nurse, Tabitha, whom he loved and welcomed her as part of the family during that time.
