Howard Lee Symonds

Howard Lee Symonds, 73, of Macon, GA, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street Chapel officiated by the Reverend Mark Childre.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Stone Creek Cemetery.

Son of the late Homer Lee and Maggie Beatrice Wimberly Symonds, Mr. Symonds loved going to dirt track racing and to rodeos.  He was a longtime truck driver, driving for many different trucking companies.

Mr. Symonds is survived by his daughter, Sheila Symonds of Irwinton, Georgia; son, Kevin Symonds of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Stephen Forrest Hobbs, Jr. (Catie Beth), Daniel Cole Hobbs, David Lee Hobbs, and Sadie Grace Hobbs; and great grandchildren, Collins Hobbs and Janie Blu Hobbs.
