Howard "Ben" Murray

Howard "Ben" Murray, 83, of Macon, passed away January 8, 2018. Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 with Reverend Hunter Stevenson officiating. A reception will follow the service. Burial will be at Andersonville National Cemetery at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Presbyterian Day School Band Program(Memorial), 5671 Calvin Drive, Macon, GA 31210 or North Macon Presbyterian Church, 5707 Rivoli Drive, Macon, GA 31210. Mr. Murray was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. He was a retired project manager for General Motors. He was predeceased by his father, Howard Day Murray and sister, Lois Ziacik. Mr. Murray is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kim Murray of Macon; daughter, Kim Hall of St. Augustine, Florida; sons, Kirk Murray (Keri) of Palatka, Florida, Kyle Murray (Bobby Thompson) of Parrish, Florida and Austin Murray of Macon; grandchildren, Leslie Denardo of Lithonia, Georgia , Matthew Leider (Sarah) of Franklin, Tennessee, Keri Coronado of St. Augustine, Stephen Murray of Metamora, Michigan, Michael Murray (Miranda) of Hanahan, South Carolina, Sean Murray of Attica, Michigan and Christopher Hudson of Palatka; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Mark Murray and Johnny Murray, both of Pennsylvania; and cousin, Ed Baker (Jean) of Macon.
