Hester Grantham Radford

Hester Grantham Radford, 51, of Jones County, died Sunday, August 22, 2021. The family will greet friends Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to All About Animals, P.O. Box 4331 Macon, GA 31208.

Hester was wise, talented, funny, generous, and loved to help people. She played the piano for several churches and was youth director at several churches. A hard worker, she attended Bible College and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in medical technology. Hestor was a 1987 graduate of First Presbyterian Day School. She was a polysomnographic technician. Hester was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Carlos Gregory Grantham.

Hester is survived by her husband, Jon Radford of Macon; daughter, Brooke Butler of Gray; son, Greg Maharrey (Morgan) of Arkansas; grandchildren, Nathan Bonner, Gracelynn Hagans, Lily Hagans, and Boone Harrell; mother, Vickie Grantham of Gray; brothers, Dan Grantham (Staci) of Gray, Carl Grantham of Gray, and Sam Grantham (Cherie) of Macon; nieces and nephews, Byron Grantham, Gary Grantham, and Joshua May; and mother-in-law, Mary Radford of Milledgeville.
