Henry Schoch

Macon-Henry "Buddy" Schoch, 56, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon with the Reverend Anne Meroney officiating. Family will greet friends following the service. The family may be contacted at 140 Von Ron Drive, the residence of Henry and Jane Schoch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice, 2484 Ingleside Avenue, Building B, Macon, GA 31204 or to the donor's favorite charity.

Mr. Schoch was the owner and operator of Macon Elevator Company and was well liked by his customers. He was a skilled wood worker and mechanical trouble shooter. His hobbies included cooking and fishing.

Mr. Schoch is survived by his wife, Jeanne Schoch, of Macon; son, Ben Schoch of Marietta; daughter, Megan Schoch of Macon; parents, Henry and Jane Schoch of Macon; and sister, Kathy Kersey of Gaithersburg, MD.
