Helon Hudson "Mudder" Magouirk

Helon Hudson "Mudder" MaGouirk passed away on April 5, 2018. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hart's, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, Georgia with the Reverend Bob Hamilton officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the Jones County Chapel. Interment will be private. In honoring her love for her pets, donations may be made in her memory to your local animal shelter. Born in Macon and living in Gray since 1965, Mudder was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and she loved to travel. She helped with the Jones County recreational sports. She was in several bowling leagues and travel clubs. Mudder loved genealogy where she has traced her ancestors back to Jones County beginning in 1808. Mudder was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Henry MaGouirk; son, Larry Thomas MaGouirk; father, James Charles Hudson; and mother, Mary Bruner Hudson. Mudder is survived by her daughters, Patricia Nickles (Johnny Mack) of Gray, Lynn MaGouirk of Gray, and Mary Kaye Horsley (Tony) of Macon; son, Wayne MaGouirk (Amanda) of Perry; grandchildren, Greg, Amy, Ashley, Ansley, Melissa, Matt, Eric, Brent, Brian, and Brooke; great grandchildren, Thomas Lee, Mackensie, Nicole, Chandler, Hunter, Gavin, Leah, Claire, Ellie, Baby Spears, Laura, Caleb, Olivia, Kamille, Khloe, and Rylie; great-great grandchildren, Avery and Jaxon.
