Helen Frances Scoggins Dillard

Macon- Helen Frances Scoggins Dillard, 77, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at 10:30AM at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate) with Dr. Timothy McCoy officiating. Mrs. Dillard was the wife of the late James A. Dillard and the daughter of the late William Letha Scoggins and the late Helen Daniel Scoggins. She was a graduate of A. L. Miller High School and the University of Georgia. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Mrs. Dillard was a charter member of Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon and an affiliate member of St. Simons Presbyterian Church. She was the owner of Dillard's Lad and Lassie Children's Clothing Store. She was a member of the Morning Music Club and a charter member of House and Garden Club in Macon. Survivors include her daughters, Alethea Dillard of Macon and Helen Dillard Rebuck (Allen) of Lawrenceville; grandchild, Jessica Lynn Rebuck. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Ingleside Baptist Church, Building Fund, 834 Wimbish Road, Macon, GA 31210 or to St. Simons Island Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 205 King's Way, St. Simons Island, GA 31522.
