Helen Dorothy Mcrae

Helen McRae: of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 19, 2009 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Stubbs Cemetery in Abbeville, Ga. At 2:00 p.m. Reverend John Kinser will officiate. The family may be visited at 738 Glencove Drive, Macon, Ga. 31204. Born in Meridan, Conn. She was a member of the Vineville Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a home gardener, specializing in herbs. She had many artistic interests as needle-point, creating post cards, and fine sewing. Helen served as a Brownie leader with her daughters. She was a Bible student concerned with the original languages of Latin, Greek and Hebrew. She is survived by her husband, Womble McRae of Macon, Children, Ginny Ballou of Colorado and Patricia Miles of Wyoming. Three grandchildren, Alex Miles, Rachelle vonLeu, Isaac vonLeu . Brothers. David Bisec and Donald Bisec, both of Connecticut; Sister, Gerry Satler of Connecticut.
