Macon-Helen Barnwell Barron died Saturday, September 27, 2008.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00AM at Riverside Cemetery, North Gate, with the Reverend Cass DuCharme officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Mrs. Barron was a longtime resident of Macon. She was the daughter of the late William Claude Barnwell, Sr. and the late Minna Springer Barnwell.

Mrs. Barron is survived by step-son, Charles P. Barron, Jr. of Marietta; two step Grandchildren, Chris and Betsy; cousin, Carroll Barnwell of Macon; niece, Tricia Barnwell Burttram of Macon; niece, Mae Noble McPhail of Sun City Center, FL; nephew, Bill Barnwell of Franklin, NC; niece Gay Barnwell Prater of West Palm Beach, FL; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Barron was the widow of Charles P. Barron. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Barnwell Noble and Mae Barnwell McArrell; and brothers, William Claude Barnwell, Jr. and Harry Walter Barnwell.
