Hazeline Blackwood (Hazel) Evans

Macon- Hazeline (Hazel) Blackwood Evans, born February 18, 1928, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009. She leaves behind two sisters, El Nita Smith and Coleen Taylor; two dear brothers-in-law, Glen Smith and Wayne Taylor; one son, Tommy Evans of Rock Hill, SC and one daughter, Patricia Evans of Macon, GA; two grandsons, Larry Evans and Daniel Evans, both of Atlanta, GA; her favorite niece, Cathy Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC and four nephews, Ricky, Michael, Jeffery, and Greg Ford, all of Myrtle Beach, SC. Mrs. Evans lived in Macon for 53 years and enjoyed the town and the people. She loved her days at Publix working as a food demonstrator near the deli and chatting with people and giving away her smile to anyone she met. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.
