Hazel Louise Ray, 94, of 1228 Carlisle Avenue, died Monday, November 16, 2015. Graveside services will be held at Macon Memorial Park on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:30AM. Pastor Tim Kelly will officiate. Mrs. Ray was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Her favorite quote was "Faithful to her trust" - Author unknown. Mrs. Ray was predeceased by her brother, Clarence Austin, Jr., sister, Ann Vivian Ray, her husband, Benjamin Malacah Ray and her son, Gary Martin Cranford. She is survived by a devoted daughter-in-law and caregiver, Bertha Cranford of Macon; granddaughters, Maria Cranford, Donna Cranford, and Shelley Cranford, all of Macon; nephews and nieces, Allen (Terry) Ray of Tennessee, Deborah Wright (Johnny) and Patricia Schloeder, both of Alabama, Terry Austin and Wayne Austin, both of Macon; great-nieces and nephews, Brent Brookhyser of Texas, Kimberly Presley of Americus, Misti Steed of Alabama and Courtney Wright; great-grand-nieces and nephews, Morgan Kirkland, Kendall Kirkland, Olivia Steed, Emily Steed, Colin Brookhyser and Lauren Brookhyser.
