Harvey Leo Leff, of Macon and Atlanta, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 28, 2014, at ArlingtonMemorial Park in Atlanta, GA with Rabbi Aaron Rubinstein officiating. Mr. Leff was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII in occupied Japan. After moving to Atlanta in 1972, he worked most of his life in retailing, serving as a dress buyer for Rich's Department Store. Mr. Leff later opened his own women's clothing store in Atlanta and then went to work for the IRS after his retirement. He was an avid reader and a very loyal Atlanta Braves fan.
Survivors: Wife, Phyllis Leff; Daughter, Bonnie (David) Cornelius; Daughter, Sharon (Thomas) Maurno; Grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Kyle, Taylor and Micah; Nephew, Steven (Saundra) Saffer and great nieces, Jennifer and Kristen. Mr. Leff was preceded in death by his twin sister, Doris Saffer.
