Harold Eugene Griffin

Harold Eugene Griffin: 80, of Macon, Georgia went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Lanny Earley will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Macon, he was the son of the late Titus and Nora Smith Griffin. He was predeceased by his wife, Daisy Barbee Griffin and a daughter, Linda Joyce Griffin. He was a retired electrician from the I.B.E.W. Local #1316. He was a member of the Pine Forest Baptist Church, and the Harrison Sunday School Class. Mr. Griffin was an avid bowler. He was a member of several leagues including, the Outsiders Bowling League, The Thursday Seniors Bowling League and the Monday SmokeFree Bowling League. He also served in the Merchant Marines. He is survived by his children, Ronnie Griffin(Donna), Randy Griffin, Carol Wallace, and Barbara Short, all of Macon; Grandchildren, Karen Prince, Eric Prince, Josh Short(Kathryn), Jeanne Short, Jason Griffin(Heidi), Christopher Griffin, Lauren Griffin, Kenneth Griffin, and Five Great Grandchildren. Brothers, William Griffin of Augusta, Titus Griffin Jr. of Morrow, Ga. and Charles Ross (Ducky) Griffin of Evans, Ga., and his faithful companion, Bullet.
