Grace Defore

Grace DeFore, 77, of Lizella, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Lizella Baptist Church with the Reverend Shannon Back officiating. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Monday 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family may be contacted at 101 Jordan Drive, the residence of Rhonda and Burt Andrews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lizella Baptist Church, P.O. Box 186, Lizella, GA 31052. Mrs. DeFore was a member of Lizella Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jackson Eldred DeFore Sr. and the daughter of the late Wilson Grant Sandefur and the late Ivey Nash Valentine. She was predeceased by a son, Bobby DeFore. Mrs. DeFore is survived by three children, Jackie DeFore (Judy) of Fort Valley, Rhonda Andrews (Burt) of Lizella, and Kenny DeFore (Kathy) of Macon; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and her brother, Jimmy Sandefur ( Sharon) of Lizella.
