Glynn F. Stokes

Glynn F. Stokes: 81, went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 29, 2011. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama. Born in Enterprise, Alabama, he was the son of the late James and Beatrice Bostic Stokes. He is the husband of the late Elizabeth Swindle Stokes. Mr. Stokes was a retired Master Sargent from the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. He also was retired from the Sony Corporation after 10 years of service. He was a proud member of the Air Force Association and The El Bethel Baptist Church in Coffee Springs, Alabama. He is survived by his children, Karen Wiensch (Gary) of Colorado Springs, Co.; Donna White (John) of Macon, Ga.; Michael Stokes (Sujin) of South Korea. Grandchildren, Brett Wiensch, Vickie Tallman, Brian Wiensch, Timothy Wiensch, Kristi Stokes, Kane White, Ashley White; Great grandchildren, Katijo Tallman, Matthew Tallman, Danielle Wiensch, Ashley Wiensch and one on the way. The family may be contacted at the residence of Donna and John White, 7780 Nowell Road South, Macon, Georgia 31216. In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Alzhiemers Association, 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Macon, Georgia 31201. Friends may sign the online register at www.hartsmort.com.
