Ginny Alvers

Ginny Alvers, 59, of Milledgeville, GA, died Monday, August 30, 2021.  A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with the Reverend Sean Beck officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.  The service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/HartsMortuary.

Daughter of the late Frank Leo and Phyllis Jane Hart Frasier, Ginny received her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University and associates degree in respiratory care at Indian River Community College. She has been a supervisor in the respiratory therapy department since 2002 at Atrium Navicent Medical.  Ginny also worked for 13 years at Grumman Aircraft while living in Jensen Beach, Florida.  Ginny was preceded in death by sisters, Judy Harbot and Eva Wickham; brother, Gene Frasier; and furbaby, Penny.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Mike Alvers of Milledgeville; brothers, Jim Frasier (Blanch) of Greenville, South Carolina, and Henry Frasier (Pat) of Alpine, New York; best friends, Leslie Carroll (Richard) of Gray, Amy Hunter (Kent) of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Lana Butler (Buddy) of Macon; several nieces and nephews; and furbaby, Bella.
