Gertrude Lines "Trudy" Evans passed away November 10, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 at Hart's Mortuary, Chapel of Cupola at 11:00AM with Dr. Laudis Lanford officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family may be contacted at the residence of Dee and Bruce Stanfield at 320 Plantation Dr., Macon GA, 31210. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon, GA 31204. Trudy retired from the Service News Company after 44 years of dedication. She was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School. Trudy was an avid tennis player and sports enthusiast. She was a lifelong fan of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the St. Louis Cardinals. Trudy is survived by her daughter, Dee Stanfield (Bruce) of Macon, GA; three grandchildren, Spencer (Aly) of Macon, Georgia, Skyler (Michael) of Boston, Massachusetts, and Evan (Britta) of Savannah, Georgia; one great-grandchild, Ady of Macon, one great-grandson on the way; 2 grand-dogs, Ruby and Lovie; and many nieces and nephews.
