Georgieanna Anders Malone

Georgieanna Anders “Nana” Malone, 89, of Gray, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. Services were held Friday, December 18, 2020 at Plentitude Baptist Church with the Elder Bill Torrance and Pastor Tommy Freemen officiating.

Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Malone and son, Dennis Malone.

Mrs. Malone was born June 28, 1931 in Goshen, New York to the late Harold and Florence Anders, and raised in Danville, Indiana. She is survived by her children, Bennie Malone (Karen), Gloria Anne Malone Sexton (Steve), Greg Malone (Tiffany); grandchildren, Stephanie Warr (Steve), Benjamin Sexton (Ashley), Nicole Malone, Taylor Malone, Teddie Lundy and children; great grandchildren, William Story, Brannon Vickery, Benjamin Sexton, Anna Warr, Yurianna Malone and Saphira Malone; brother, Harold Anders (Jackie), sister, K.C. Rogers; sister-in-law, Jane Gordon, Edna Malone, Marvin and Clara Malone; her very precious friend, Rosa Tribble; and many many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Malone loved her family, loved cooking for them and taking care of them. She was a mighty prayer warrior, praying for family, friends and our country daily. She loved Elvis and red roses. She was a long-time member of Plentitude Baptist Church, and attended Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Plentitude Homemakers Club, where she served as President for many years, and a former member the Eastern Star, Gray Garden Club, and a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader. Mrs. Malone enjoyed bowling for many years and loved her many bowling buddies. She also loved to read, play computer games, and work on puzzles.
