George Werling Newman passed away on March 18, 2017. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at William Wolff Cemetery, with Rabbi Larry Schlesinger officiating. George was predeceased by his brother-in-law Danny Herrin. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served as a Civil Engineer for the United States Air Force. George was a member of the Muscogee Indian Nation Headquartered in Bruce, FL. George is survived by his wife, Lisa Torch Newman of Pensacola, FL; parents, George and Susie Newman Jr. of Pensacola, FL; sister, Kelly Newman Herrin of Pensacola, FL; brother, Brad Werling Newman (Maegan) Chester, NJ; brother-in-law: Evan torch (Robin) of Atlanta; nieces and nephews, Josh Herrin, Zoey Newman, Gage Newman, Harper Newman, Samantha Torch (Stephen Kallus), Jessica Torch (Aaron Konter).
