George Leon Newberry, Jr.

We are celebrating the life of George Newberry, an incredible southern Scotsman born in Lizella, Georgia. He left a rich legacy as founder of Clan Keith Society USA, co-founder of the Stone Mountain Highland games, and the Atlanta St. Andrews Society. He lived his life with his clan's motto VERITA VINCIT; "truth conquers." He will joyfully live in the memory of his many friends and family: wife, Marilyn Newberry; sons Christopher Wade (Suzanne) and Andrew Wade; and his beloved grandchildren, Alex and Evan Wade. A memorial tribute will be held at Lizella United Methodist Church at 11:00 on Friday, January 11, 2013 in Lizella, Georgia.
