George Amason, Jr.

George Ross Amason, Jr., 94, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Mr. Amason was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was a retired electrician from Burns Brick Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Amason. Survivors include: his daughter, Jenny (John) Tallent of Grayson, GA; son, Craig Ross (Amy) Amason of Cornelia, GA; grandchildren, Joy (Caleb) Hollis, Jill (Steven) Dobek, Jamie (Brad) Winterburn, Clint Amason and Ethan Amason, and five great grandchildren.
