Gene Lowe Adams

Mrs. Gene Lowe Adams of Macon, Georgia born April 4, 1921, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Services will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 3:00pm at Hart's at the Copula, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Riverside United Methodist Church, 735 Pierce Avenue, Macon, GA 31204. Mrs. Adams was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She loved sports, hunting, fishing and yard work. She worked as a cashier at Schwobilt Clothing Company on Cherry Street for almost forty years. Later, she worked at the Department of Veteran Services Offices for ten years. Mrs. Adams is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, David Frank Adams and great nephew, Brian Campbell. Mrs. Adams is survived by her sister; Ann Burress of Macon, Georgia; brother, Chester Lowe, Jr. (June) of Warner Robins, Georgia; nephews, Eddie Burress, Sr., Brett Lowe; nieces, Jeanie Campbell, Lizabeth Lowe Mellon, Leslie Lowe Brown; great nieces, Erin Campbell Atkinson, Cristy Sparks; and great nephew Jody Burress.
