Franklin Eugene "Gene" Cheshire

Franklin Eugene "Gene" Cheshire, of Macon, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013, at 3PM, at Nachamu Ami Synagogue, 6733 New Forsyth Road, Macon, GA 31210. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, suite #359, Macon, GA 31210. His passions included golfing, hunting, square dancing, acting and UGA football. His greatest enjoyment was watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Survivors: Daughter, Kacey Cheshire Henry; Son, Chris Asbell; Son, Ches Cheshire; Daughters, Renee Carden, Angie (Jody) Petty, Cindy (Chris) Stephens, Laura, Denise Lowe and Dana Cheshire; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
