Frankie Childree Cleveland

Frankie Childree Cleveland, 72, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Frankie was born in Reynolds, Georgia on March 17, 1954, to the late Arthur E. Childree and Ruby Y. Childree. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Frankie had a gentle, loving nature and was known for her sweet soul. She enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls, had a fondness for jewelry, and loved animals. She enjoyed trips to the mountains and chasing waterfalls with her husband, Zeb. She cherished time spent with her family and was especially devoted to her parents. These simple joys reflected the warmth and kindness she shared with others throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Frankie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Z. “Zeb” Cleveland of Macon; sister, Cheryl “Cherry” Childree Woodford; nephew, John R. Woodford, Jr. (Melissa); and great nephews, William Arthur Woodford and John Walker Woodford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Cancer Research Foundation of donor’s choice.
