Frances Irene Cooner Vance; of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 11 a.m in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will private in Riverside Cemetery. Reverend Chip Miller will officiate. Visitation will follow the service in the funeral home. Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Jacob Lee Cooner and Annie Laurie Hardy Cooner, and she was the widow of William Poole Vance. Mrs. Vance was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a Circle Leader for many years. She was a homemaker and was involved with the Girl Scouts as a Troup Leader and a Neighborhood Chairman. She enjoyed gardening and was a recent recipient of theYard of the Month by the Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Vance of Macon; Sister, Margaret Rongitsch of St. Paul Minn. Nephews, John Donald (Joanne) Rongitsch of Pheonix, Arizonia and Darryl Lee (Patricia) Rongitsch of St. Paul, Minn. . A special thank you is extended to her primary caregivers, Shante' Thomas, Maryann Kennedy, and Jennifer Havis, and her nurse, Paul Triesenberg.
