Frances Shepard

Mamie Frances Shepard, 85, died on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The Reverend Robert S. Kerr will officiate. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Hart's at the Cupola. Donations may be made to The Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204. Mrs. Shepard graduated from Mount de Sales Academy and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and a member of Cross Keys Homemakers Club.

Mrs. Shepard is survived by her husband, Charles W. "Buck" Shepard of Macon; two daughters, Myra Moore (Randy) of Macon and Micki Davis (Mike) of Macon; her cousin, Elaine Dorman (Ricky) of Macon; grandchildren, Wendy Brentzel of Lizella, Charles Ward of Macon, Melissa Johnson of Macon, Will Davis of Atlanta, and Justin Moore of Byron; and six great-grandchildren.
