Macon-Frances Smith Sewell, 79 of Macon Ga., passed away Friday, May 8, 2009. Funeral arrangements in Chester Virginia are being handled by J.T. Morris & Son. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM graveside at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Heart of Georgia Humane Society to honor her great and tender love of animals. She was preceded in death by her husband, William George Sewell, Jr., her son Michael J. Sewell, her sister Loretta Smith and her brother Vernon J. Smith. She is survived by a step-son, William J. Sewell III of Leesburg, Virginia; sisters Sherrill M. Martin (Jerry) of Macon and Jeanette Frazier (Bill) of Belmont, N.C., brother Myril John Smith (Becky) of Clover, South Carolina and grandchildren Michelle Buchanan of Richmond Virginia, Gabriel Sewell and Danielle Sewell of Florida.
