Frances Pratt

Frances Pratt, 100, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Funeral services will be at 3:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverends Edwin Beckham and Ruth Healy officiating. Family will greet friends one half hour before the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Pratt was a charter member of Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Covington, Georgia. She was the founder of Georgia Federated Women's Club of Covington, and the Service Guild of the Women's Club, and the Little Red School House Kindergarten in 1963 in Covington. Mrs. Pratt was an active member of the Covington Bridge Club. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and cooking. She was predeceased by her niece, Sue Thornton and her husband, Richard Thornton. Survivors include her nephew, Rick Hill (Carol) of Covington, Georgia; niece, Dianne Sweckard of Macon; nephew, Benny Hill (Roe) of Dawsonville, Georgia; nephew, Lanny Hill (Pat) of Johns Creek, Georgia; niece, Arden Grace (Larry) of Macon; nephew, A.B.
