Frances S. "Funny" Jaffe

Macon- Frances S. "Funny" Jaffe, 90, of 455 Ashville Drive, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Chapel at Hart's at the Cupola. Rabbi Laurence Schlesinger will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Council of Jewish Women, 475 Riverside Drive, Suite 1901 New York, NY 10115.

Mrs. Jaffe was very active at Temple Sinai in Washington, D.C. and was a volunteer with the Jewish Council for the Aging. Her hobbies included knitting and counted cross-stitch. She was an avid world traveler and had traveled to every continent.

Mrs. Jaffe is survived by her husband, Jacob M. Jaffe; daughters and sons-in-law, Roslyn L. and Bernard Cohen of Lake Wylie, SC and Annette R. and Sean Peppard of Macon; grandchildren, Stephanie Morse and her husband, Greg of Monterey, CA, Bryan Cohen and his wife, Beth of Charlotte, NC, Brendan Peppard and his wife, MaryEllen of Yardley, PA, Siobhan Peppard-Fulcher and her husband, Robi of Stuttgart, Germany, and Bret Peppard and his wife, Tara of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; great-grandchildren, Colby Morse, Cooper Morse, Ribh Fulcher and Saoirse Fulcher; sister, Belle Stillerman of New York.
