Florence Hallman

Florence Allen "Flo" Hallman, 90, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend James Braswell officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Glen Haven. Visitation will be between 4:00-6:00PM on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Hart's at the Cupola. Mrs. Hallman was a long time member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and served as church secretary for several local churches. She was retired from Southern Bell. She was a "Friend of Bill" and a sponsor to many for over 30 years. Mrs. Hallman was preceded in death by her former husband, Jim Hallman, Jr., and daughter, Mary Jo Spears. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. Allen and Mattie Sue Beavers Allen. Survivors include her son, James W. "Jimmy" Hallman, III (Pat) of Hitchcock, Texas; daughter, Sue Hummel of Macon; four grandchildren, Julie Huff (Doug) of Saugus, California, Tricia Roberts (Jason) of League City, Texas, Lori Gilmer of Macon, and Jay Stewart of Stockbridge, Georgia; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Allen of Baltimore, Maryland.
