Fleming Julian Martin

Fleming Julian Martin, 67, of Macon, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, with the Reverend Larry Wilbanks officiating. Burial will be private. The family may be contacted at the residence and will greet friends on Saturday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, #359, Macon, Georgia 31210. Mr. Martin attended Ingleside Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Julian LaFayette Martin and the late Evelyn Pierce Martin and was predeceased by his sister, Janice Joiner, and his pet, Milo. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A graduate of Mercer University, Mr. Martin retired from State Farm Insurance Company in 2007. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Janice Bush Martin of Macon; children, Amanda Martin Blackwell (Nate) of Cumming, Georgia and Fleming David Martin (Kelly) of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Brayden Blackwell, Shannon Martin and Nolan Martin; sister and brother, Linda Wells of Jacksonville, Florida and Bill Martin of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and his faithful companion, Macy.
