Faye Edgar Stallings, 93 of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on June 4, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Eugene Edgar and Mary Virginia Lowe Edgar, Faye was born in Tennille, Georgia on May 19, 1932. She was the cherished widow of the late William Lee "Bill" Stallings Jr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories.
For many years, Faye worked for NASA as an administrative assistant at the Kennedy Space Center, a job which she enjoyed very much. Beyond her professional achievements, Faye enjoyed going to yoga class every week, bowling in her local bowling league, and gardening. She grew the best tomatoes in Florida. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.
Faye was an Ovarian Cancer survivor, facing the illness with admirable courage and grace, and emerging as a beacon of hope and strength for those around her.
Faye will be lovingly remembered by her son, Tripp Stallings (Amy) of Sumter, South Carolina; daughter, Lori Hagood (Peter) of Altamonte Springs, Florida; grandchildren: Arden Stallings of Greenville, South Carolina, Will Stallings of Washington D.C., Braeden Stallings of Sumter, South Carolina, Carson Hagood of Orlando, Florida, and Pete Hagood of Orlando, Florida; sister, Frances Barrineau of Macon, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by her sisters, Joyce Mau, Yvonne O’Brien, and Barbara O’Byrne.
