Evy "Granny Hall" Fountain Hall, 92, of Byron, formerly of Macon, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends at Hart's at the Cupola on Saturday from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Houston Heights Baptist Church, 4439 Tech Drive, Macon, Georgia 31206 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Hall was a member of Houston Heights Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse, retired from the Macon Bibb County Health Department. She was predeceased by eight siblings, her husband, Lewis Hall, and her son-in-law, Jim Davidson. Mrs. Hall is survived by her children, Evelyn Davidson of Warner Robins, Edna Shurley (Steve) of Vidalia and Freddy Hall (Beth) of Commerce; brother, Bun Fountain of Byromville, GA; sister, Katie F. Ansley of Ochlocknee, GA; grandchildren, the Reverend Clay Layfield (Amy) of Eastman, Chad Layfield (Felicia) of Warner Robins, Scott Davidson (Amanda) of Cornelia, Brandi Pieplow (Andrew) of Jefferson, Bud Hall (Amanda) of Macon and Laura Hart (Davey) of Vidalia; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
