Evelyn Upshaw Willis

Evelyn Upshaw Willis, 91, of Macon, Georgia, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church with the Reverend Eddie Windham officiating.  The family will greet friends Friday, July 16, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel.  Burial will be held at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.  Flowers are appreciated and memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 5400 Riverside Dr Suite 200, Macon, GA 31210.

Daughter of the late Frank and Lemma Roberts Upshaw, Mrs. Willis loved her family.  She also loved to crochet, embroidery, sewing, and dress making.  Mrs. Willis is preceded in death by her husband, Riley Willis.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her children, Johnny Willis, Sandra Mason (Roy), and Paula Nation (Terry), all of Jones County; stepdaughter, Patsy Gerard of Bibb County; grandchildren, Angela Willis and Christy Weeks (James) of Jones County, Machelle Bell (Andy) of Macon, Melissa Truluck (Joshua) of Gray, Johnathan Willis (Amanda), Chad Willis, and Brandon Tucker, all of Jones County; and 11 great grandchildren.
