Evelyn Elizabeth Oakes Mcbride

Evelyn Elizabeth Oakes McBride, 91, died Sunday, March 23, 2014. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:00AM at LutheranChurch of the Redeemer with Pastor James Braswell officiating. Burial will be in MaconMemorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to LutheranChurch of the Redeemer, 390 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204 or to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Mrs. McBride was a member of LutheranChurch of the Redeemer. She was a member of Young-At-Heart and the Crafty Ladies Group at the church.

Mrs. McBride is survived by her sister, Eleanor Lagowicz of Macon and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Hodnett and her son, Christopher Hodnett of Martinez, Georgia, Cheryl Thompson of Fort Valley, Georgia, Brian Fitzpatrick of Macon, Dennis Fitzpatrick of Maui, Hawaii, Barry Fitzpatrick, of Stephens City, Virginia and Rose Marie Derr of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
