Evelyn V. Griffith, 84, died Saturday, January 3, 2009. Private graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 8, 2009, atNorth View Cemetery in Cedartown, GA. Mrs. Griffith was a retired bookkeeper for Inland Container Corp. serving for 35 years.

Mrs. Griffith was the beloved mother of her daughter, Jeanna M. Cook (James M.) of Bonaire. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Lindsey Hayes Arcand (Merritt) of Savannah, Jaime Cook Nunez (Danny) of Savannah, and Christopher Cole Cook of Bonaire; brother, Larry Wheeler (Norma) of Newnan, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
