Evelyn Hartman Brazzeal

Tucker, GA- Evelyn Hortman Brazzeal, 87, of Tucker, GA, died Monday, January 5, 2009. Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 3:00PM at Vineville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Macon, GA 31201, Briarcliff Baptist Church, Music Ministry, 3029 Briarcliff Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329, or Vineville Baptist Church Music Ministry, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204. Mrs. Brazzeal was a member of Vineville Baptist Church in Macon and of Briarcliff Baptist Church in Atlanta where she served as a secretary and was a member of the choir. She worked for Georgia Baptist Convention as financial secretary for fifteen years. Mrs. Brazzeal is survived by sons, Richard Brazzeal, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida and David Brazzeal of Montreal, Canada; daughters, Beverly Brazzeal and Elaine Brazzeal, both of Tucker, Georgia; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Cathryne Burdeshaw of Butler, Georgia.
