Evelyn K. "Aunt Evelyn" Farmer

Evelyn K. "Aunt Evelyn" Farmer, of Macon, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 2:00PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Burial will be in the Henderson-Stripling Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. The family may be contacted at 114 Highway 57. Mrs. Farmer was born March 23, 1920 in Jones County. She was the daughter of the late Newt and Mattie Etheridge. Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Farmer, her niece, Juanita Dooley and 6 brothers and sisters. Survivors: Nephew and caregiver, Ed (Diane) Batchelor; Step son, Randall (Lynn) Farmer; Step daughter, Betty (Don) Vinson; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
