Macon- Ester V. Sparks, 77, of 689 Lokchapee Drive, died Friday, July 29, 2011. Services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00AM at Mulberry Street United Methodist Church with the Reverend Bill Hurdle officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Macon Outreach at Mulberry. Mrs. Sparks was a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She served as Treasurer of the Church and was a strong supporter of the Outreach Program. Mrs. Sparks was an avid member of the Wellness Center. She loved vacationing with her family on the Fourth of July at St. Simons Island. Mrs. Sparks is survived by her husband, William J. Sparks of Macon; children, Dawn S. Shields (Ted) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Todd W. Sparks (Mary Will) of Macon; brothers, Randy Vincelette (Marianne) of Sweden and Wayne Vincelette of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Steven Shields, Scott Shields, Emily Sparks, Megan Sparks, Rebecca Black, Will Black and Garrison Black.
