Erline Janie Mixon Darley

Erline Janie Mixon Darley, 68, of 1212 Gray Highway, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Heart of Georgia Humane Society, P. O. Box 7554, Macon, Georgia 31209. Mrs. Darley was the owner of C & E Cab Company and drove cabs for more than twenty years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Durwood Mixon, and her last husband, Robert Earl Darley, her mother, Irene Whitehead and her adopted mother, Annie Laurie Smith. Mrs. Darley is survived by her daughters, Laurie Ann Jones (Rick Reneker) of Columbus, Georgia, Alma Mixon (Gary Lee) of Gray, Georgia and Tammy Lambert (John) of Walterboro, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; Jesse Jones, Amanda Hester, Stacy Kirby, Christopher Lambert, Ashley Lealot, Amber Holmes, Nicole Jones and Elizabeth Lambert; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Soublis of McDonough, Georgia.
