Era H. Stacks

Era Stacks, 82, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. Services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018, 2:00 PM at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Dr. Morgan Kerr officiating. Burial services will follow at Macon Memorial Park in Macon GA. The family will greet friends on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 3PM until 5PM at Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon GA, 31210.

Ms. Stacks retired from BellSouth after 29 years of service and dedication. She was a devout Christian and a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Ms. Stacks loved to read the Bible along with many other books. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and going on cruises.

Ms. Stacks is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marseilous Hand; Son, LaDan Stacks and sister, Eunice.

Ms. Stacks is survived by her daughters, Charisse “Sherry” (Herb) Spangler, Jennifer “Jenny” (Rick) Elliott, Ann Futch, and Wanda Zegers; Son, Glenn (Kay) Stacks; Sisters, Edda Williams and Robbie Clements; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and dear friends and neighbors, Jalila and several others to whom she was affectionately known as “Babba.”
