Emma Kersey Spivey, 87, died on Monday, September 23, 2013. Graveside services will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Betty Jean Wimberly officiating. Family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 25th from 5:00-7:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family may be contacted at 1277 Courtland Avenue. Mrs. Spivey was the widow of John Aaron Spivey. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Wesley Kersey and the late Fannie Bell McGowan Kersey. Mrs. Spivey is predeceased by seven children, Harvey, Morris "Duck", Steve, Linda, Johnnie Ruth, Ricky, and Patricia "Peanut". Survivors include her daughter, Dian Taylor of Griffin, Georgia; three sons, Gene Spivey, Joe Spivey and Jack Spivey (Pat) all of Macon; 64 grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
